UK Pavilion at Beijing Horticultural Expo 2019

Exploring the British transformation of its known gardenscape into the 21^st century, we work with M-Integrated Solutions (M-IS), the main design house, to complete technical execution in drawings and structural systems in tents and supply units. Considering environmental conditions, we reinforced structural security to maintain the quintessential British outdoor garden. The green innovation and garden design also includes a photography exhibition for the prestigious lineage of garden landscapes over time. 

Our first inception into outdoor horticultural construction, we collaborated with engineers and suppliers within their fields for professional completion, supporting M-IS’s architectural design with a maintenance team specially assigned on standby through the Pavilion’s daily operation smoothly. In 5 months, the exposition welcomed over 1 million visitors attracted to the Union Jack flag green wall, a top limelight at the exposition.

Living Worlds: An Animal Planet Experience

to engage

Working closely with Discovery Inc’s team, our content and storytelling creatives conceptualise imaginative spaces to match the never-before-seen documentary footage by Animal Planet. From Animal Planet’s vast depository of videos, we also feature the channel’s host engaging visitors on screen.

The story follows majestic wildlife creatures through their natural habitats, fostering an inter-relational understanding of the ecosystem we share. To immerse the audience in truly compelling environments, bespoke multimedia and specific hardware equipment were brought in – of which includes a 270° projection dome, a stimulated ice wall of 2 metres width and 1.5 metre height, and interactive floors for games. Charting these realms of nature, audiences can delve into the Animal Planet experience and tap into their imagination to dive around in a submarine and make friends with the creatures of the North and South Pole.

Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC) Office

The Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC) emphasizes social responsibility, driving knowledge and research towards conservation of nature, energy and water. In accordance with RISC’s requirement and vision, the project worked with environmentally-friendly materials, adhering to its principle of ‘sustainnovation’ in social, economic, and environmental aspects.

The project’s considerations was focused on functionality and aesthetics in the creation of RISC’s interior. Collaborating with the brand to execute its optimised planning of the office’s indoor environment, the space combines minimalist style with eco-design to embody a concept of holistic well-being.  

To emulate a green and resilient environment, indoor plants were utilised and positioned in various concepts, creating friendly and innovative spaces. Along with timber wood panels across the corridor walkways, a warm tone sets the stage for environmentally-conscious design.
